Afonso Venturieri

Fagote

Afonso Venturieri, fagotista brasileiro radicado na Suíça, possui formação acadêmica realizada na Alemanha e Áustria. Foi membro do Ensemble Modern (Frankfurt) e atua regularmente com a Camerata Academica Mozarteum (Salzburg). Desde 1987 ocupou o cargo de primeiro fagote solista da Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. Professor na Universidade de Genebra, ministra masterclasses e atua como solista e camerista em diversos continentes.

Nesta edição, Afonso atuará junto dos alunos de fagote que integram os grupos de câmara e o naipe do instrumento na Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Violin

Alexandre Silvério

Bassoon

Alexandre Silvério has served as Principal Bassoon of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 2004 and is a faculty member of the OSESP Academy. Renowned for bridging the worlds of classical music and jazz, he studied in Berlin with the legendary Klaus Thunemann and was a member of the prestigious Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. A member of Camaleon Bassoons and leader of his own jazz quartet, he is an artist who combines tradition and improvisation in expanding the expressive possibilities of his instrument.

In the 56th edition of the Festival, Alexandre will work with the members of the bassoon section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Ana Valéria Poles

Double Bass

Ana Valéria Poles has been a double bassist with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 1988 and has served as Principal Double Bass since 1997. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and has performed with major European and Brazilian ensembles, establishing an internationally distinguished career. She holds a Master’s degree in Music from the Federal University of Bahia and is the author of the book Bowing Systems and Bow Strokes in Scales and Arpeggios for Double Bass, published by Tipografia Musical. She is also a faculty member of the OSESP Music Academy.

At the 56th edition of the festival, Ana Valéria will work alongside the students of the Double Bass section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Piano

Brian Fountain

Double bass

Brian Fountain has served as Principal Double Bass of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra since 2016. He began his musical studies at the age of ten and studied at Interlochen Arts Academy and Johns Hopkins University. He performed regularly with the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Virginia Symphony Orchestras. He was a member of the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra before becoming Principal Double Bass of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra in Guadalajara, Mexico. Brian has performed at festivals in Tiradentes, Recife, Ilhabela, and Campos do Jordão. Over the years, he has been selected by some of Brazil’s leading conductors, including John Neschling, Roberto Minczuk, Fabio Mechetti, and Ira Levin. He also served as a special double bass juror for the Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón and is frequently sought after as a coach for orchestral audition preparation.

At this edition of the festival, Brian will work with the students of both the Opera Academy and the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Camila Barrientos Ossio

Clarinet

Camila Barrientos Ossio is Principal Clarinet of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra. She began her international musical training at the age of fourteen at Interlochen Arts Academy in the United States and went on to earn both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City. With a distinguished international career, she has appeared as a guest musician with leading ensembles, including the New York Philharmonic, and has performed in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Konzerthaus Berlin. She is also curator and Artistic Director of the Ecos Latino-Americanos Festival.

In this edition, Camila will work with the clarinet students participating in the chamber ensembles of the Festival’s educational program.

Carmelo De los Santos

Violin

Cármelo de los Santos enjoys an active career as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. At the age of 16, he won Brazil’s most prestigious music competition, the VII Eldorado Music Prize, in São Paulo. Since then, he has appeared as a guest soloist with more than 50 orchestras in Brazil and abroad. Cármelo is Full Professor at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, United States. Since 2022, he has served as Concertmaster of the New Mexico Philharmonic, holding the Karen McKinnon Chair. He performs on instruments crafted by renowned luthiers, including Chris Pedersen (2024), Luiz Bellini (1987), Angelo Soliani (1791), and the “Le Brun” Antonio Stradivari (1714).

In the 56th edition of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival, Cármelo will work with the violin students participating in the Festival’s chamber ensembles.

Cindy Folly

Viola

Doutora em Música pela Unesp, sob orientação do violista Ricardo Kubala (em memória), Cindy Folly integra a Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira e a Orquestra Sinfônica da UFRJ. Já integrou a Orquestra do Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, a Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional Cláudio Santoro, a Orquestra Filarmônica de Goiás e Orquestra Sinfônica de Goiânia, onde ocupou posições de spalla dos violinos, chefe de naipe e concertino das violas.

Como convidada, participou de concertos com a Osesp. Foi professora de viola da Emesp Tom Jobim, do
Instituto Baccarelli e professora/camerista convidada no Festival Internacional Música para Respirar 2023 e programa educacional Promesas, em Sucre, na Bolívia.

Detentora do primeiro lugar no concurso de Música de Câmara de Araçatuba (SP) em 2005, e vencedora de diversas audições de orquestra, foi solista frente à Orquestra Sinfônica de Goiânia e Orquestra de Câmara Goyazes. Atua intensamente como camerista, colaborando com músicos como Antônio Meneses, Edua Zadory, Priscila Rato, Catherine Carignan, Marialbi Trisólio, Horácio Gouveia, Luiza Aquin, Brusk Zanganeh, Camila Barrientos e Willem Stam em festivais importantes, como o Festival de Maio, em Belo Horizonte, a Semana Internacional de Música de Câmara do Rio de Janeiro, no Espaço Cultural BNDES, na Sala Cecília Meireles no Rio de Janeiro, Festival Internacional Musica para Respirar e Semana da Mulher da Emesp Tom Jobim.

Integrou o ensemble São Paulo Chamber Soloists no “Projeto Gnatalli” em concerto na Sala São Paulo e gravação de CDs de toda a obra para orquestra de cordas de Radamés Gnatalli ao lado de grandes músicos, como Horácio Schaefer, Ederson Fernandes, Alejandro Aldana e Mathew Thorpe, tendo solistas como Jennifer Stumm e Fábio Zanon.

Realizou intensa pesquisa em torno do repertório camerístico dos séculos XX e XXI para viola e violoncelo enquanto integrava o Duo Chordata com Larissa Mattos entre 2013 e 2017. Compositores como Marco Padilha, Alfredo Votta e Holmer Becker dedicaram obras ao duo, fazendo diversas outras estreias nacionais e internacionais. Com o duo, venceu o concurso para participar da programação do BNDES em 2017, cujo concerto ao vivo fez parte do programa de TV Partituras, o qual também foi transmitido pela rádio EBC em diversas ocasiões.

Na 56ª edição do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão, Cindy atuará junto dos alunos de viola que integram o naipe da orquestra na Ópera “A Flauta Mágica”.

Claudio Micheletti

Violin

Claudio Micheletti graduated in 2004 from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, where he studied under Eszter Perenyi. He is the winner of the OSESP Young Soloists Competition and the Young Soloists Competition of the Experimental Repertory Orchestra, which he won for three consecutive years. He was awarded Second Prize at the 10th Eldorado Classical Music Competition in 1999. A founding member of the Camargo Guarnieri Quartet, he has appeared as a soloist with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), Camerata Fukuda, the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra, the Experimental Repertory Orchestra, the Campinas Symphony Orchestra, the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, and the Goiás Symphony Orchestra. He served as Concertmaster of the Bachiana SESI-SP Philharmonic Orchestra. He currently serves as Associate Concertmaster of the Experimental Repertory Orchestra (OER), Concertmaster of the University of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSUSP), and Concertmaster of the Piracicaba Symphony Orchestra. He is regularly invited to teach at Brazil’s leading music festivals, including the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival, the Curitiba Music Workshop, and the Indaiatuba Festival, among others.

In this edition, Claudio Micheletti will work with the violin students participating in the chamber music program.

Darcio Gianelli

Trombone

Mestre pela The Juilliard School, nos Estados Unidos, foi trombonista do Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, da Orquestra Sinfônica de Galícia, na Espanha, e atualmente é trombonista solo da Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo (OSESP).

Professor da Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo, tem lecionado nos principais festivais do Brasil.

Nesta edição, Darcio atuará junto dos alunos que integram o naipe de trombones da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Darrin Milling

Trombone baixo

Trombonista baixo solista norte-americano, Darrin C. Milling, formado no The Curtis Institute of Music, já solou à frente de orquestras e bandas no Brasil, Canadá, Chile, EUA e no Tailândia, e tocou como músico convidado com The Philadelphia Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Jerusalem Symphony e Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de São Paulo. Ele é artista da Edwards Instrument Company, cofundador do Low Brass Project Chamber Ensemble & Company e integrante do Posaune Decuple, um conjunto de trombones de elite com as lendas do trombone, Joseph Alessi e Blair Bollinger.

Foi diretor do Luzerne Music Center em Lake Luzerne, Nova York e do International Strings Festival em Pensilvânia. Desde sua chegada ao Brasil, Darrin ministrou aulas individuais e coletivas, além de cursos do The Program Brasil (Centro de Treinamento em Alta Performance), como convidado em instituições renomadas, tais como The Curtis Institute of Music, New England Conservatory, Conservatório de Tatuí, EMESP, entre outras. O trabalho pedagógico do Darrin no Brasil é gerenciado pelo The Program Brasil.

Nesta edição, Darrin atuará junto dos alunos que integram o naipe de trombones da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Davi Graton

Violino

Natural de São Paulo, Davi Graton iniciou seus estudos na Congregação Cristã no Brasil. Contudo, sua formação se deve principalmente a Yoshitame Fukuda e Elisa Fukuda, com quem estudou por anos. Também exerceu grande influência em sua prática artística o violinista italiano Corrado Romano, discípulo de Carl Flesch e George Enescu.

Venceu o Concurso Jovens Solistas da Osesp e foi o grande vencedor do 9º Prêmio Eldorado de Música, razão pela qual gravou, com a pianista Scheilla Glaser, o álbum Davi Graton: Vencedor do IX Prêmio Eldorado de Música (Eldorado, 1998). Além dos muitos álbuns gravados com a Osesp enquanto membro da Orquestra, destaca-se como solista do Choro para Violino e Orquestra, incluído no CD Camargo Guarnieri: Choros I; Seresta (NAXOS, 2020), obra que interpretou sob a regência de Isaac Karabtchevsky.

Um dos fundadores da Camerata Fukuda, integrou a Orquestra Experimental de Repertório (OER) e a Orquestra Sinfônica da USP (OSUSP). Sob a batuta de Lorin Maazel, apresentou-se no concerto de encerramento da etapa sul-americana do Maazel-Vilar Conductor’s Competition.

Como solista, esteve à frente da Camerata Fukuda, da Orquestra Experimental de Repertório (OER), da Orquestra Sinfônica da USP (OSUSP), da Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional Cláudio Santoro, da Orquestra Sinfônica de Porto Alegre (OSPA, da Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais e da Orquestra Sinfônica do Rio Grande do Norte (OSRN).

Professor da Academia de Música da Osesp e da Orquestra Parassinfônica de São Paulo (OPESP), Davi é membro fundador do Trio São Paulo, que mantém com o violoncelista russo Ilia Laporev e a pianista romena Dana Radu. É ainda integrante do Quarteto Pau-Brasil e do Quarteto Osesp, com o spalla da Osesp, Emmanuele Baldini, o violista Peter Pas e o violoncelista Rodrigo Andrade.

Nesta edição, Davi atuará junto dos alunos que integram o naipe de violinos da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Eliane Tokeshi

Violino

Eliane Tokeshi é professora de violino da Universidade de São Paulo. Em 2025, foi artista convidada residente na University of Texas at Austin. Sua trajetória artística abrange atuações como camerista, solista e pedagoga. Transita por diferentes estilos musicais e se destaca pelas estreias de obras e gravações de álbuns, consequência de um trabalho voltado à valorização do repertório brasileiro e contemporâneo.

Nesta edição, Elisa atuará junto dos alunos que integram o naipe de violinos da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Elisa Fukuda

Violino

Elisa Fukuda é uma das principais violinistas brasileiras. É formada no Conservatório de Música de Genebra e aperfeiçoada no Mozarteum de Salzburg com Sandor Vegh. Apresentou-se como solista em importantes salas do Brasil, Europa e Estados Unidos, ao lado de orquestras como a George Enesco de Bucareste e a St. Luke Orchestra de Nova York.

Fundadora da Camerata Fukuda, Quarteto Camargo Guarnieri e Trio Elisa Fukuda, possui extensa discografia e atuação destacada na formação de músicos. Recebeu importantes reconhecimentos, entre eles os prêmios APCA de Melhor Solista do Ano e Prêmio Carlos Gomes na categoria Solista Instrumental.

Nesta edição, Elisa atuará junto dos alunos que integram o naipe de violinos da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Elizabeth Del Grande

Percussion - Timpani

Principal Timpanist of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) for more than fifty years and a pioneer of classical percussion in Brazil, Elizabeth graduated from the São Paulo Municipal School of Music, holds a Bachelor’s degree from UNESP, and pursued advanced studies at Tanglewood. Recipient of the APCA Award, she has built a distinguished international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. She teaches at the São Paulo Municipal School of Music and the OSESP Academy, where she has mentored generations of musicians.

In this edition, Elizabeth will work with the members of the percussion section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Fabio Zanon

Violão

Fabio Zanon é um dos artistas brasileiros de maior prestígio internacional. Vencedor dos maiores concursos internacionais de violão, como o GFA nos EUA e o Francisco Tárrega, na Espanha, já se apresentou em mais de 60 países e à frente de orquestras como OSESP, Filarmônica de Londres e Orquestra Estatal Russa.

É autor do livro Villa-Lobos e criador de programas de rádio e podcasts sobre música. Fabio é professor e Fellow da Royal Academy of Music em Londres; recebeu o título de Doutor Honoris Causa da Universidade Nacional de Rosário, na Argentina.

Nesta edição, Fabio atuará junto dos alunos da turma de violão que integram a Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Fernando Dissenha

Trompete

Fernando Dissenha foi recentemente nomeado Professor de Trompete e Metais do Departamento de Música da Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo (DM-FFCLRP-USP).

Trompetista, solista e educador com atuação internacional, é reconhecido por uma carreira que integra performance de alto nível, produção artística, pesquisa acadêmica e pedagogia. Apresentou-se como primeiro trompete em algumas das mais prestigiadas salas de concerto do mundo, colaborando com importantes maestros como Marin Alsop, Giancarlo Guerrero, Jac van Steen, David Robertson e Vasily Petrenko.

Nesta edição, Fernando atuará junto dos alunos que integram o naipe de trompetes da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Filipe Queirós

Tuba

Tubista português, aperfeiçoou-se na França com o renomado professor Mel Culbertson e atuou com orquestras e ensembles pela a Europa. Como solista, apresentou-se em recitais e concertos com orquestras, além de gravar a obra “Fantasia Sul Americana” de Cláudio Santoro para a editora Naxos.

Desde 2014, reside no Brasil onde integra a OSESP e atua também como professor na Academia da Osesp e em diversos festivais pelo país.

Nesta edição, Filipe atuará junto dos alunos de tuba que integram a Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Francisco Formiga

Fagote

Gabriel Marin

Viola

Gabriel began his career standing out as principal viola at the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra (OSB), later expanding his work to the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra (OSM) and as a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the University of São Paulo (OSUSP). He won the Eleazar de Carvalho Prize at the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival in 2004, in addition to receiving other awards. Internationally, he performed with the Youth Orchestra of the Americas, collaborating with renowned conductors and soloists such as Gustavo Dudamel and Yo-Yo Ma, and he was a member of the Odense Symphony Orchestra in Denmark, performing on major European stages.

In the 56th edition, the violist will perform alongside the students who make up the viola section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Giuliano Rosas

Clarinet

Giuliano Rosas holds a Bachelor’s degree from UNESP (São Paulo State University) and a Master’s degree from the Longy School of Music in the United States. He has performed with the Experimental Repertory Orchestra, the Brazil Jazz Symphony Orchestra, the University of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSUSP), and the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra. He is a clarinet professor at EMESP Tom Jobim and maintains an active chamber music career, with notable recordings including the albums Resonances and Fragments of a Solar Winter. He is currently a member of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP).

At this edition of the festival, Giuliano will work with the clarinet students participating in the Festival’s chamber music ensembles.

Heitor Fuginame

Violin

Heitor began his musical studies on the piano at the age of six, quickly distinguishing himself in competitions and recitals. At eight, he started studying the violin with Professor Tosio Takeda and later continued his training under the guidance of Professor Ayrton Pinto. Throughout his career, he has been a member of several orchestras, including the São Paulo State Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Santo André Symphony Orchestra, the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), and the Villa-Lobos Chamber Orchestra. He is currently a member of the Bachiana Philharmonic Orchestra SESI-SP and the São Paulo Municipal Theatre Symphony Orchestra.

At this edition of the festival, Heitor will work with the students of the Violin section of both the Opera Academy and the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Horácio Gouveia

Piano

Pianist Horácio studied in Freiburg, Germany, with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of São Paulo (USP). He maintains an active career as a recitalist and chamber musician, with a repertoire spanning from Bach to contemporary composers. The recipient of numerous awards, he has served as a professor and jury member at major festivals and competitions. He is a member of Trio Arqué, Percorso Ensemble, and the piano duos with Cassia Carrascoza and Paula Pires. He teaches piano and chamber music at EMESP, EMM, and the OSESP Academy.

In the 56th edition of the Festival, Horácio will work with the piano students participating in the chamber music ensembles of the Festival’s educational program.

Horacio Gouveia

Piano

Pianist Horacio is a Doctor of Musicology from the University of São Paulo (USP) and studied in Freiburg, Germany, with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He maintains an active career as both a recitalist and chamber musician, with a repertoire spanning from Bach to contemporary composers. The recipient of numerous awards, he has served as a professor and jury member at major festivals and competitions. He performs with Trio Arqué, Percorso Ensemble, and in duo partnerships with Cassia Carrascoza and Paula Pires. He is a professor of piano and chamber music at EMESP Tom Jobim, the São Paulo Municipal School of Music (EMM), and the OSESP Music Academy.

At this edition of the festival, Horacio will work with the piano students participating in the Festival’s chamber music ensembles.

Horácio Schaeffer

Viola

Horácio Shaefer teve sua graduação e mestrado em viola e música de câmara na Alemanha com renomados mestres como Max Rostal e o Quarteto Amadeus. Foi membro da orquestra “ Deutsche Bach Solisten”, viola solista da Orquestra Filarmônica da cidade de Essen, na Alemanha, e membro da Orquestra Sinfônica da radio de Frankfurt. De volta ao Brasil, foi professor do departamento de música da ECA-USP e da Escola de Belas Artes da Universidade Estadual do Paraná. Desde 1998, é o primeiro viola permanente da OSESP.

Nesta edição, Horácio atuará junto dos alunos de viola que integram o naipe da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Ivani Venturieri

Piano

Brazilian pianist Ivani Venturieri graduated from the renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. Based in Switzerland, she was a member of the faculty of the Geneva University of Music and is frequently invited to serve as the official pianist for prestigious international competitions, including the Geneva Competition and the Bottesini Competition in Italy. She performs regularly as a soloist and in a variety of chamber music settings throughout Brazil, Europe, and South Korea.

In this edition, Ivani will work with the piano students participating in the Festival’s chamber music ensembles and Opera program.

Jessica Dalsant

Flute

Principal Flute of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), Jéssica is a frequent guest with several orchestras, including Ensemble Resonanz Hamburg, the Münchener Kammerorchester (MKO München), and Camerata Salzburg. She also holds a degree in Psychology and is a dedicated teacher.

In this edition, Jéssica will work with the members of the flute section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Joel Silva de Souza

Cello

Holding a Master of Music degree from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music in the United States and a Doctor of Music degree from UNESP, Joel de Souza has received numerous national and international awards, including First Prize at the Michael and Madelyn Savarick Annual Music Competition (USA). As a soloist, he has performed with the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra, the Santo André Symphony Orchestra, the Guarulhos Symphony Orchestra, the Experimental Repertory Orchestra, the Santos Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Fukuda, Cantilena Ensemble, and the UNESP Camerata. He currently serves as Full Professor at UNESP.

In the 56th edition of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival, Joel will work with the cello students participating in the chamber ensembles of the Festival’s educational program.

Julián Medina

Double Bass

A graduate of the Teatro Colón Orchestral Academy in Argentina, Julián Medina is Associate Principal Double Bass of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra at Teatro Colón. He is also a member of Arthaus and Sixpicatto, among other chamber ensembles. He was awarded First Prize at the prestigious Bottesini Competition in Italy and has received top prizes in several other international competitions. He regularly gives masterclasses and teaches at numerous festivals. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, and Italy.

In the 56th edition of the Festival, Julián will work with the members of the double bass section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Kim Bak Dinitzen

Cello

Born in Denmark in 1963, Kim Bak Dinitzen has appeared as a soloist with all major Danish orchestras since his debut in 1986 and has received numerous awards, including the Victor Borge Prize and the Jacob Gade Prize. In April 2025, he performed as the soloist in Richard Strauss’s Don Quixote with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) under the baton of Emilia Hoving. Beyond Denmark, Kim has been recognized in several international competitions. He has taught at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, and the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He was a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and served as Principal Cello of the Royal Danish Orchestra. Since 2024, he has held the position of Principal Cello of OSESP. His discography includes the complete works for cello by Benjamin Britten, the complete works for cello and piano by Gabriel Fauré, and sonatas by Brahms, Strauss, Prokofiev, and Schnittke. Leandro Isaac

Piano

Pianista brasileiro de destacada atuação no cenário nacional e fora do país, Leandro Isaac mantém uma sólida trajetória artística, aliando intensa atividade como solista e camerista em importantes palcos do Brasil e do exterior, entre eles a Sala São Paulo, o Theatro Municipal de São Paulo e o Rudolf Ganz Memorial Hall.

Laureado em diversos concursos nacionais e internacionais, atuou como solista junto a destacadas orquestras como a OSESP e a Orquestra Sinfônica de Campinas, além de colaborar com artistas como o violoncelista argentino Herman Schreiner e o clarinetista japonês Yoshihiro Okuyama, com quem gravou CD lançado pelo selo Aeolian Classics em Chicago.

Concluiu sua graduação no Brasil, é mestre e obteve seu Artistic Diploma com bolsa concedida pelo Chicago College of Performing Arts nos Estados Unidos, estudando com grandes pianistas como Luciana Sayure, Winston Choi, Edward Auer e Martin Katz. Ademais, recebeu um prêmio da Robert Turnbull Piano Foundation, instituição que permitiu que realizasse estudos na Itália com a pianista Ewa Kupiec.

Atualmente, é professor de piano erudito na EMESP Tom Jobim, no CSEM e doutorando em performance musical na Universidade Estadual de Campinas.

Nesta 56ª edição, Leandro atuará junto dos alunos que integram os grupos de câmara da programação pedagógica do Festival.

Luiz Garcia

Trompa

Trompa solista da Osesp desde 2015, desenvolve extensa carreira como camerista e solista. Atuou como trompa solista convidado da Filarmônica de Berlim e da Chicago Symphony, dente outras.

Nesta edição, Luiz atuará junto dos alunos de trompa que integram os grupos de câmara da programação pedagógica e o naipe do instrumento na Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Márcia Fernandes

Percussion - Timpani

Principal Timpanist of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra and a faculty member at EMESP Tom Jobim, Márcia graduated with highest honors from the Conservatoire de Strasbourg and pursued advanced studies in Hamburg. She has built a distinguished international career, performing in iconic venues such as the Musikverein and Teatro Colón. She has appeared as a guest with leading European ensembles, including the Orchestre de l’Opéra National du Rhin and the Orchestre National Philharmonique de Strasbourg. Widely recognized for her work in contemporary music, she has given premieres of works by composers such as Andy Akiho, Michele Agnes, Mauricio Kagel, and Philip Glass.

In this edition, Márcia will work with the percussion students participating in the chamber ensembles of the Festival’s educational program.

Marcos Motta

Trumpet

A native of São Paulo, Marcos has held the position of Utility Trumpet with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 2021 and is serving as Acting Principal Trumpet during the Orchestra’s 2026 season. From 2011 to 2021, he was Principal Trumpet of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra.

In this edition, Marcos will work with the trumpet students participating in the chamber ensembles and with the members of the trumpet section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Maria Fernanda Krug

Violino

Maria Fernanda Krug, violinista formada por Salvatore Accardo, atua como solista e camerista em salas internacionais e nacionais. É chefe de naipe da Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de SP, e realiza intenso trabalho didático em todo Brasil. Além disso, gravou como solista para o selo europeu Dux Records.

No Festival, Maria Fernanda atuará em aulas, masterclasses e ensaios junto dos alunos de violino na Ópera e na Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Marina Martins

Cello

Based in Switzerland, cellist Marina Martins began her musical studies at the age of three and quickly distinguished herself, winning her first competition at the age of eight and making her solo debut in England at sixteen. Her recording of Claudio Santoro’s Cello Concerto with the Goiás Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Neil Thomson received international acclaim from publications such as The Strad, BBC Music Magazine, and Gramophone UK, among others. Her most recent awards include the Schenk Stiftung Soloist Competition in Switzerland and the Internationales Musikfest Wien Soloist Competition in Austria. She is a member of Trio Basilea, winner of the Orpheus Swiss Chamber Music Competition. Marina performs extensively throughout Europe and the Americas, establishing herself as one of the most promising young soloists of her generation.

In the 56th edition of the Festival, Marina will work with the members of the cello section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Maurício Müller

Piano

Maurício Müller is a pianist, répétiteur, and chamber musician. He trained at the Tatuí Conservatory, FATEC Tatuí, and the OSESP Music Academy. He is currently the pianist of the Mogi das Cruzes Symphony Orchestra and a répétiteur pianist at the OSESP Foundation, with extensive experience in instrumental, choral, and conducting-related coaching. He is a prizewinner in piano competitions at the Tatuí Conservatory and was a finalist in the OSESP Young Soloists Competition in 2025. His artistic trajectory is marked by versatility, orchestral activity, and experience across a wide range of repertoires and musical formations.

At this edition of the festival, Maurício will work with the piano students participating in the Opera Academy of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival.

Ovanir Buosi

Clarinet

Ovanir Buosi has been Principal Clarinet of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 1977, with which he has toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States, and China. He graduated from UNESP and continued his studies at the Royal College of Music in London. A prizewinner in major national competitions, including the Eldorado Music Award and the Radio MEC Soloists Competition, Buosi frequently performs as a soloist with leading Brazilian orchestras such as OSESP, the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra. In chamber music, he maintains a regular partnership with pianist Horacio Gouveia, is a member of the Zephyros Quintet, and collaborates with prominent ensembles and musicians. His discography includes reference recordings for the prestigious BIS label, featuring works by Camargo Guarnieri and Francisco Mignone. He is currently a professor at the OSESP Music Academy and at the Baccarelli Institute, in addition to serving as a guest professor at various national and international festivals.

At this edition of the festival, Ovanir will work with the clarinet students participating in the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Peter Pas

Viola

Peter Pas é Viola Solista da OSESP, Professor de Viola e Música de Câmara da Academia da OSESP. Frequentou a Universidade de Indiana, nos Estados Unidos, onde estudou com Atar Arad, e recebeu o prestigiado Performer’s Certificate por seu Recital Sênior. Ele concluiu seus estudos na Yale University, com Jesse Levine. Peter é artista endossante do fabricante de cordas Vienense Thomastik-Infeld, e do fabricante Francês de estojos Bam Cases.

Nesta edição, o violista atuará junto dos alunos de viola que integram os grupos de câmara da programação pedagógica e o naipe da Orquestra do Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão.

Philip Doyle

Trompa

Trompista solista da Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica, Philip Doyle é também membro do Quinteto Villa-Lobos desde 1987. Detentor de vários prêmios, Philip foi condecorado com a Ordem de Rio Branco por serviços culturais. Desde 2010, é Professor de Trompa na Escola de Música da UFRJ, e leciona nos principais festivais de música do país.

Nesta edição, Philip atuará junto dos alunos de trompa que integram os grupos de câmara, na programação pedagógica do Festival.

Raïff Dantas Barreto

Cello

Raïff Dantas Barreto, from the state of Paraíba, is Principal Cello of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra. He made the Brazilian premiere of important works such as Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 2, Kabalevsky’s Cello Concerto No. 2, and Miklós Rózsa’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin and cello. He has appeared as a soloist with major Brazilian orchestras, including the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) and the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra (São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra), under conductors such as John Neschling, Roberto Minczuk, and Lídia Amadio, among others. Thirty works for cello—including concertos, sonatas, and solo pieces—have been dedicated to him. An artist with Azul Music, he has released several albums recorded with musicians such as Cláudio Cruz, Álvaro Siviero, Anastasiya Evsina, Flávio Augusto, Davi Sartori, and Marcos Aragoni.

At this edition of the festival, Raïff will work with the cello students participating in the Opera Academy of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival (Campos do Jordão Winter Festival).

Ramon Theobald

Piano

Ramon Theobald is a Brazilian conductor, pianist, and vocal coach with professional activity in both Europe and Brazil. A former member of the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris and the Fabbrica program of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, his career is marked by a strong operatic foundation and close collaboration with singers. He regularly works in the preparation of young artists who have been prizewinners in international competitions, including Teona Todua, Alejandro Baliñas, and Théo Imart. He has also been responsible for preparing Lorena Pires and Luis-Felipe Sousa for the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris, as well as Samuel Wallace for the Opernstudio Zürich. Ramon has collaborated on projects with soprano Diana Damrau and currently develops his artistic work under the guidance of conductor Donato Renzetti.

At this edition of the festival, Ramon will work with the piano students participating in the Opera Academy of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival.

Raphael Paixão

Trombone

Raphael Paixão é trombonista, professor e pesquisador, natural de São Paulo, com formação pela Faculdade Santa Marcelina, UNIRIO, Academia da OSESP e CODARTS – Conservatório de Rotterdam, na Holanda. Premiado em concursos nacionais, atuou em importantes orquestras no Brasil, Europa, México e Estados Unidos, incluindo a Orquestra Filarmônica de Jalisco, onde foi aprovado como trombone solista. Como professor e solista, lecionou em festivais no Brasil, México, Colômbia, Argentina e Alemanha. Atualmente é Professor de trombones da UFRJ, trombone solo da Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira e da Orquestra Sinfônica do Theatro Municipal de São Paulo. Também desenvolve trabalhos camerísticos com o Trio Brasileiro de Trombones, é artista Thein Brass, diretor do Projeto Bone Brasil e criador da plataforma Trombone Online.

Renan Mendes

Flute

Renan graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris (CRR de Paris). He has performed as a guest musician with leading ensembles such as the Orchestre de Paris and the Ensemble InterContemporain. In Brazil, he has collaborated with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP). He currently serves as Principal Flute of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra.

In this edition, Renan will work with the members of the flute section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Renato Bandel

Viola

Renato Bandel is a distinguished Brazilian violist with more than three decades of international experience and a solid musical background that includes studies at the prestigious Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. During his years in Germany, he performed with leading European ensembles and worked under the baton of renowned conductors such as Claudio Abbado and Sir Simon Rattle. In Brazil, he served as Principal Viola of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra and received awards as a member of the Camargo Guarnieri Quartet. A respected educator and arts administrator, he served as coordinator of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival and currently holds the position of Artistic Manager for Music at the Tatuí Conservatory.

In this edition, Renato will work with the members of the viola section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Ricardo Bologna

Percussão

Ricardo Bologna é Professor de Percussão e Regência da Universidade de São Paulo, Diretor Artístico da OSUSP e Regente Titular da Orquestra de Câmara da ECA- USP. Foi Timpanista Solista da OSESP por 26 anos e atua como regente convidado das principais orquestras brasileiras. Em 2002, fundou o Percorso Ensemble, dedicado ao repertório dos séculos XX e XXI, com atuação no Brasil e exterior e premiações como o Grande Prêmio da Revista Concerto 2017. Realizou importantes primeiras audições brasileiras de obras de Boulez, Ligeti, Xenakis e Antheil, além da estreia latino-americana de Gruppen, de Stockhausen, com a OSESP em 2026. Em 1989, criou o Duo Contexto ao lado do percussionista Eduardo Leandro, grupo premiado no Brasil e na Alemanha. Desenvolve intensa carreira internacional com turnês pelas Américas, Europa e Japão, além de gravações pelos selos SESC-SP e Musiques Suisses.

Ricardo Righini

Percussão

Ricardo Righini é percussionista formado pela Unesp e vencedor do Prêmio Eldorado de 1986. Foi primeiro percussionista da Orquestra Sinfônica do Paraná e da Banda Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo. Especializou-se no Conservatoire de Musique de Genève, atuando como convidado da Orchestre de la Suisse Romande e do Centre International de Percussion (CIP). Desde 1994, integra a OSESP, onde é primeiro percussionista, além de atuar como professor da Academia de Música da OSESP e ministrar masterclasses em importantes universidades e festivais do país.

Nesta edição, Ricardo atuará junto dos alunos de percussão que integram os grupos de câmara do Festival.

Roberto Minczuk

Conducting

Roberto Minczuk was born in São Paulo and began studying music with his father at the age of six. At nine, he entered the São Paulo Municipal School of Music as a horn player, and at ten he made his debut as a soloist at the São Paulo Municipal Theatre (Theatro Municipal de São Paulo). At 13, in 1981, he was appointed through a public audition by Isaac Karabtchevsky as Principal Horn of the São Paulo Municipal Theatre Orchestra. At 14, he moved to New York on a scholarship and graduated from the Juilliard School (The Juilliard School). At 17, he made his Carnegie Hall debut as a soloist (Carnegie Hall). At 20, he became a member of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra in Germany.

At this edition of the festival, Roberto Minczuk, Artistic Director of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival (Campos do Jordão Winter Festival), will work with the conducting students participating in the Festival’s educational program, in addition to conducting the Festival Orchestra and Opera production.

Rosnei Tuon

Violin

Rosnei Tuon has served as Principal Second Violin of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Switzerland since 2000. He studied in Geneva, where he was awarded the Premier Prix de Virtuosité, as well as the special Lullin and Vidoudez prizes. He furthered his studies in Lyon, France, and received Second Prize at the Portogruaro Festival in Italy. He has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Les Solistes de Genève, and Sinfonietta Genève. He also served as Principal Second Violin of the Geneva Chamber Orchestra. Since 2024, he has taught orchestral excerpts at the Geneva University of Music (HEM).

In this edition, Rosnei will work with the violin students participating in the chamber ensembles and with the members of the violin section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Rubén Zúñiga

Percussion - Timpani

Born in Santiago, Chile, Rubén Zúñiga is Principal Timpanist of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), holds a Doctor of Music degree from UNESP, and serves as Artistic Director of Grupo Martelo and Escualo Ensemble. With a solid musical background acquired in Chile, Germany, and the United States, he has collaborated with leading European orchestras, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg. He has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls and festivals, such as Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw, and the BBC Proms, and has appeared as a soloist with renowned symphony orchestras.

He is an international artist for Zildjian, Vic Firth, Black Swamp, and Alves Percussion.

In this edition, Rubén will work with the percussion students participating in the chamber ensembles of the Festival’s educational program.

Silvio Catto

Viola

Silvio Catto

Viola

Silvio Catto began studying viola at the age of eight with his grandfather, Lázaro Bertrami, at the Tatuí Conservatory (Conservatório de Tatuí). At 18, he joined the Orchestra of the São Paulo Municipal Theatre (Orquestra Sinfônica do Theatro Municipal de São Paulo), and in 2009, after winning first place in a competition for section leader, he became Principal Viola (spalla). Since 2007, he has been a member of the Camargo Guarnieri Quartet, with which he has taken part in recordings dedicated to both Brazilian and international repertoire. He has also taught at institutions and festivals such as EMESP Tom Jobim (EMESP Tom Jobim), the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival (Campos do Jordão Winter Festival), and the Baccarelli Institute. He is currently Principal Viola of the São Paulo Municipal Theatre Symphony Orchestra, a professor at EMESP Tom Jobim, and a member of the Camargo Guarnieri Quartet.

At this edition of the festival, Silvio will work with the viola students participating in the chamber music groups of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival.

Washington Barella

Oboe

Washington Barella is Professor of Oboe at the Universität der Künste Berlin, Germany, and formerly served as Principal Oboe of the SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg. Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike as one of the leading oboists of his generation, Washington Barella is the recipient of several prestigious national and international awards.

In this edition, Washington will work closely with the members of the oboe section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.

Wilson Sampaio

Cello

Wilson Sampaio studied in the Pre-College Division of The Juilliard School in New York under the guidance of Leonard Rose and at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold with Márcio Carneiro. He completed his studies at the Geneva Conservatory under François Guye, where he was awarded the Premier Prix de Virtuosité with Distinction. He is currently on the faculty of the Academia Jovens Músicos, the Carlos Gomes Conservatory, and the Instituto Baccarelli.

In this edition, Wilson will work with the members of the cello section of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival Orchestra.
