The Campos do Jordão Winter Festival opens registrations for its 56th edition with a significant expansion of opportunities for young musicians. In 2026, the Festival’s pedagogical module, which will be held between June and August, offers up to 140 places for scholarship holders.
In addition to the traditional Orchestra course, scholarship recipients will be able to participate in courses in the areas of Chamber Music (Instrument), Conducting, Classic Guitar and, after more than 15 years away from the Festival, an Opera Academy.

Courses
The Opera Academy will be formed by students from the Osesp Music Academy (Instrument and Singing), guest artists, and students selected through Applications 2026 to compose a cast of vocal soloists and the Orchestra. Performances will be performed in Campos do Jordão (SP).
The repertoire will be: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – “The Magic Flute” (KV 620).
Primarily aimed at string quartets, wind quintets, and brass quintets, but also mixed chamber groups, with or without piano, with instrumentation starting from three members. Concerts will be held in São Paulo (SP) and/or Campos do Jordão (SP).
The Festival Orchestra Course refers to the symphony orchestra that will perform two programs during the Festival, under the direction of Maestro Roberto Minczuk, also Artistic Director of the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival. The concerts will be held in São Paulo (SP) and/or Campos do Jordão (SP).
The Conducting course is aimed at young conductors, and will feature classes with Maestro Roberto Minczuk, Masterclasses and other educational opportunities
Intended for instrumentalists interested in solo repertoire, but also chamber music and orchestral repertoire.
Age limit:
Instrumental: 16 to 30 years old
Voice: 16 to 35 years old

The 56th edition of the Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival will offer up to 140 (one hundred and forty) full scholarships for Brazilian or foreign instrumentalists, singers and conductors.
